The Game

Round 6 is “SUPER MARIO BROS” and it is a retro gaming challenge. Super Mario Bros. is a platform game developed and published by Nintendo. The successor to the 1983 arcade game Mario Bros. and the first in the Super Mario series, it was released in 1985 for the Famicom in Japan. In Super Mario Bros., the player controls Mario, the protagonist of the series. Mario's younger brother, Luigi, is controlled by the second player in the game's multiplayer mode and assumes the same plot role and functionality as Mario. The objective is to race through the Mushroom Kingdom, survive the main antagonist Bowser's forces, and save Princess Toadstool. The game is a side-scrolling platform game; the player moves to the right to reach the flagpole at the end of each level.

RULES

Go to your ease off access keyboard setting on your computer and disable the box under sticky keys for “allow the shortcut key to start sticky keys”.  Now you may run with mario uninterrupted. Then you will go to “screenleap.com” and click share your screen now and select your web browser as the shared window. You will enter your name, turn off the audio checkbox, and start meeting.  A screen will pop up with a share link. Copy that link and send it to front man so he can watch. Once all 3 finalists are broadcasting you will get a 10 second countdown at the end of which you will click the link. The games should start at roughly the same time. The player who makes it to the end of world 1-4 first (or gets the farthest) will win. To move mario, you use the left and right arrow keys. TO make mario RUN you use the shift key and you ALSO use the shift key to throw fireballs if you have found a fireflower.

There are no warps allowed.  You can try but it will send you back to world 1-1.

Good luck.
